Chattahoochee Bend State Park (camp ground)

by Character Queen

We were staying at Chattahoochee Bend State Park this past week.  Believe it or not, we didn’t go hiking or anything because we did school and were with relatives the whole time.  The RV spots are well kept up, and there is gravel covering them.

We were right next to a play set. I say “a” play set, because  there is another, but we have never been to it.  The play set we were next to is awesome.  There are two things that spin,  one you sit down in and one you stand up in.  There are also two regular swings and two baby swings.  Off to the side there is a small zip line; it is the kind that you walk to one side holding onto a bar and lift your feet off the ground.  Then there are those things that you hold onto and spin, you are supposed to use one of them to get to a twisty metal pole, but I never got that.  My favorite thing was probably the monkey bar-like things.  You hold one of them and swing to get your feet on a metal ball, then move your hands to the bar coming up from the ball.  Another thing I really like is the bars slanting up to where the climbing walls stop;  I have fun climbing up that, then sliding down.

This is a really fun camp ground.
