Review of Lake Tawakoni RV Park

by Mr. Bang

Lake Tawakoni is a really cool RV park. There are two playsets and three swing areas. They’re all at the Family Center, which is in fact where I’m writing this blog post. And there are also two see-saws, a basketball court, and mini-golf. You can get the clubs in the office if it is open, and there’s also some just sitting outside. The mini-golf is hard but fun. There’s a smaller pool at the adult lounge and a giant pool at the Family Center.

It’s a great place to ride your bike. There are some parts that are paved and some just gravel.  This is the first time I’ve been out on my bike without training wheels!

This park has tons of trees. The parking spots are really shaded. Many of the spots look out onto Lake Tawakoni. It surrounds the park. It’s fun to watch birds hunting for fish in the lake.

They have tacos on Friday at the Family Center, and lunch from 12-1 on Wednesdays. On Saturday, they have both breakfast and lunch. And on Thursdays and Tuesdays, they have a coffee thing. I know that Taco Friday costs $5, and Wednesday lunch, but I don’t know if the rest costs anything.

I think this park would be good for all ages. I really want to go to it again.

  1. WOW! This looks like a GREAT place with lots of fun things to do. I’m really happy to see you riding your bike without training wheels, too. Good job! It will get easier and easier the more you ride.

    • I know – it is getting easier and easier. Although, the park I’m at right now doesn’t allow kids biking if they’re under the age 18, at all! -MB !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
