We're nearing the end of our time in the Boston area and making our final choices about what we can see while here - there's way more than we can experience in just three weeks! I've had Adams National Historical Park on the itinerary, but was honestly toying with the idea of skipping it. Character Queen, … Continue reading Junior Ranger Role Models

The Whale Boat
We went on a whale tour and saw a lot of whales. It was awesome! We saw three of them right up close to the boat! I loved it! We saw them again, when they came up another time. (It was really funny, they stayed up so long!) We also saw one eating! by Charactor Queen
Lego Adventure
I went to Legoland. Legoland is awesome! I especially loved the playset. It had chutes. They didn't actually open, but you climb in what looks like a tube and there's a hole in the ceiling that you go through. There is a Lego Ninjago test that you dodge under laser beams. After that room, there's … Continue reading Lego Adventure
The Process of Turning Wool into String
We went to Old Sturbridge Village this week, and for the first time I understood the process of turning wool into string. First is sheering. Sheering is basically giving a sheep a haircut. Then we have pulling. That is simply pulling the wool so the dirt falls out. (Whoever heard of a sheep who … Continue reading The Process of Turning Wool into String
The Whale Tour
With a ship in the middle of the sea, we saw humpback whales. Two whales came right up next to the boat. Actually, three. We also at the very end saw a whale eating fish. Some people saw, but I didn't see. It was just so awesome! There were three going around and around and … Continue reading The Whale Tour
Adventures of Flats
Flat Tucker and Flat Mason and I wish to go on adventures together. This is Paul Revere on horseback. That is Old North Church. It is the very church where Paul Revere asked those very people to hang the lanterns! I'm on the USS Constitution. It is a ship, a very old war ship. … Continue reading Adventures of Flats
Exploring Rhode Island
We have been exploring some areas south of Boston this week, mainly in Providence, RI. None of us have been to RI before, so we've had a lot to learn! For one thing, the name Roger Williams is all over the place in this city. I had never heard of this guy, but we've learned … Continue reading Exploring Rhode Island
The Crazy Trip
We had quite an adventure getting to Boston. First, our truck broke down! Next, we could not fit our parking spot at our rental house because our truck was too big. At that point, we were really hungry so we went to Whole Foods and they were out of pizza. I was really wanting pizza. Then we went … Continue reading The Crazy Trip
Friends Are Friends Forever
Ooh, sorry for that earworm! It's just what flowed from my brain to my fingers! One of the best parts of traveling around is getting to see friends and family that we don't normally get to see. It has now been over two months since we left home, but I haven't posted recently since we've … Continue reading Friends Are Friends Forever
